Introducing Veeple’s interPlay

Today we are excited to announce interPlay, our new interactive API and Plug-in that will allow content creators to add interactivity to their video regardless of which player they use. intePlay is FREE and will be bundled with a 30 day free trial of our Intelligent Video Analytics Suite, which measures active viewer engagement. We expect the public beta of the interPlay API to be available in the first week in November. Further, we plan to roll out three Plug-in offerings by the end of November: JW Player, BrightCove and The Platform. Please view the video below to learn more.

Customer Success Story: Q-Based Healthcare

Hello Again and welcome to this week’s customer success.  Let me start with the conclusion first this time.  Dwayne Coots, VP of Marketing for Q-Based Healthcare says, and I quote, “…with Veeple we can now move from a pitch video to creating a mini-video sales kiosk.”  That is a wonderful quote – a mini-video sales kiosk.  We know from our intelligent video statistics that Q-Based is expereiencing about a 21% CTR when he adds interactivity into his video scripts.  But Dwayne tells us directly that they are seeing a 140% increase in customer conversions through the use of the interactive video.

Success Story – Catch The Bite

Hello again and welcome to another Veeple customer success story and the powerful use of interactive video. Chris Gatley is the owner of Catch The Bite, a very well known site for people who have a passion for fishing. He is often seen on ESPN television specials about fishing and outdoor sports. Since I first wrote about Chris he has closed down CTB, but while he was running the company he did very well with his interactive videos, experiencing a very high engagement rate of almost 30%. Chris was experimenting all the time with Veeple. Two specific i-Commerce successes Chris had entailed two video campaigns, one which resulted in $4,000 in new customer orders in a two week period and the other in $17,000 worth of new business.

Veeple Interactive Video Success Story – Sniper’s Hide

Here is another interactive video success story from one of our great customers – Sniper’s Hide. Sniper’s Hide is a business that specializes in helping law enforcement and the military train in special weapons and tactics. Frank Galli, Sniper’s Hide owner, was looking for a way to use interactive video to improve his business. Frank was hopeful that this new type of video would do as well as his YouTube videos. Well, the new videos have far surpassed his expectations by about, his words, a factor of three times. He is seeing about a 31% engagement rate and recently sold a $3,000 scope to a customer who had simply watched the video and clicked on the purchase button. Now Frank writes the interactivity into his video scripts.
