Happy Thanksgiving
by scott on Nov.29, 2008, under Uncategorized
2008 has been, needless to say, both challenging and stressful. As we approach this year’s end, however, we have great blessings for which we can all be grateful. The love of friends and family. A presidential election that shows something special about the American people. The resiliency of many around the world who never give up. New innovations, such as the LHC that will unlock the mysteries of our universe. The progress of medicine, wherein a surgeon can attach a little girl’s hand. We have our challenges ahead; and we certainly have problems to solve. But we can and should face the challenges and reach to solve the problems. We are all in this together and we will get through it together as the right leaders step forward. We have much to be thankful. Happy Thanksgiving 2008!

The ZettaByte Era is here!!
by scott on Nov.18, 2008, under Uncategorized
Cisco is developing a super fast Terabyte router for the up and coming Zettabtye era. They have coined this term and it will be something that we at Veeple believe the markets will begin using. The driver for the Zettabyte Era is online video. Video everywhere! Video on every site in the world by 2012! Moreover, and this is important, a web publisher can incorporate video into their sites NOW as simply as 1-2-3; 1. Upload, 2. Publish, and 3. Measure. It is all done in the cloud with nothing to download. Video as a Service or VaaS as we like to say. (Note: some of our competitors are beginning to use our terminology. Flattering!!)
I have attached a link below if you are interested in learning more about the Zettabyte Era. Many stats can be found at this link.
Who was that man with Oprah – It’s Sam Perry
by scott on Nov.07, 2008, under Uncategorized
Well everyone – this week was amazing for every reason under the sun. And then to top it all off – I see my friend, and fellow board member at Sustainable Life Media, Sam Perry arm-n-arm with the queen of the TV talk shows Oprah. I know Sam to be a dedicated supporter of the President Elect and long before he was anywhere near the Presidency. I also know Sam to be a thoughtful man and always ’shows up’ with his heart and his head in the right place. Have fun Sam!
